The Shell bathtub is made of genuine, hand-polished and oiled walnut. It is carved from a solid block of aromatic walnut using a precision CNC milling machine. The final form is refined, polished and oiled by hand many more times. With extremely high precision and a great love of detail, this concept is at the edge of what is possible – a wood bathtub can not be made any more delicate. The exacting production process includes precise positioning of every corner and curve, and the ergonomic optimisation of every radius and incline – including for use by two people. The atmospheric and warm wood produces an exceptionally aesthetic enjoyment.
